UConn, DePaul getting set

The first game of the 2012 Big East Tournament is about to get underway, and it’s beginning the same way last year’s event did. UConn and DePaul square off at Madison Square Garden.

It’s a Noon tip on ESPN2, in case you forgot.

A few notes before the festivities begin:

— C Enosch Wolf fell to the floor in practice Monday after dunking and hit his head on the floor. Wolf suffered a concussion and also hurt his shoulder.

The sophomore from Goettingen, Germany was not at the Garden for today’s game (he may come down later in the week if the Huskies keep playing), and will be held out of action for the rest of the season.

It’s the second concussion Wolf has suffered this season.

Wolf has played in eight games this season, scoring a total of two points. He hasn’t played since a Feb. 18 game against Marquette.

— UConn will keep the same starting lineup for today’s game that it has used lately: Shabazz Napier, Jeremy Lamb, Roscoe Smith, Alex Oriakhi and Andre Drummond.
