Prince picks new kingdom

Prince Ali, a 6-3 shooting guard from New York who attends high school in Florida, committed to play for the UConn basketball team today.

Ali, who attended UConn’s game against Indiana Friday and also made an unofficial visit to the Storrs campus this weekend, tweeted his news not long ago:

“It’s been a long time coming I have officially committed to the university of Connecticut (Uconn). #bleedblue #HuskyNation”

Ali becomes the first member of UConn coach Kevin Ollie’s Class of 2015.
